Regional Old Colony Communications Center has 38 dispatchers, 8 of them supervisors serving under the leadership of Director Joseph Crean and Deputy Director Matt Tucker.
Mission
It is the mission of the Regional Old Colony Communications Center to be dedicated to preserving the value of life and property for all citizens and visitors in the diverse communities that we serve. We will answer and dispatch emergency and non-emergency calls in a timely, precise and skilled manner. We are committed to excellence in the delivery of these services while treating the people of the towns we serve with dignity, respect, and empathy. We are the vital link between public safety and citizens who need assistance. We strive to continuously improve through training, public feedback and teamwork. By utilizing technology and experience, we will continue to grow to fulfill the needs of our ever-changing environment and all who pass through it.

JOSEPH CREAN
Director
Joe was hired by the ROCCC in October 2015. He was a full time dispatcher until his promotion to Supervisor in 2017 and then was named our Deputy Director in 2021 where he stayed until leaving us for a brief period of time. Joe came back February of 2024 as the Director.

MATT TUCKER
Deputy Director
Matt was hired by the ROCCC on March 12, 2014. He is currently the deputy director and is in charge of our Operations.
